An “Advanced Excel Education” organized by the Leadership and Management Club on January 28, 2022, Friday. In the education, which was conducted online, the skills such as;
- Practical and effective preparation methods of graphics,
- Scenarios,
- All text editing functions,
- Formula checks,
- Recognition of search and reference functions,
That are required to use Excel in an advanced and more professional manner, are gained to attendants.
The BUKE team, including our Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students Ezgi Topcu, Emin Kaan Güreşçi, Umut Kaya, Bahri Berkant İçöz and Okan Kartbaş, competed in the Renesas Virtual MCU Rally with their vehicles called IKURO.
This competition, which was held physically before the pandemic, has been held online for the last 2 years in the simulation environment created by Renesas.
Istanbul Kültür University IEEE TEKNOFEST teams are continuing their practices without slowing down after the ending of TEKNOFEST 2021!
Making themselves marked by 3 teams 3 finalists even though it was their first year in TEKNOFEST 2021, our teams are continuing their practices day and night to notch their belts. Our students who will compete in the TEKNOFEST 2022 with 4 teams, are in a practise camp with the semester break.
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Men's Basketball Team defeated Yeni Yüzyıl University 81-49 in the competition in the Istanbul 1st League. We congratulate our students and wish them continued success.
The "Meeting with Student Clubs" dinner, traditionally organized by Kültür Point, was hosted by the Alumni Club on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. At the dinner where our Rector and our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. K. Sinan Alçın met with the student club presidents, and our students talked about the activities and goals of both themselves and their clubs. Our Rector listened to the ideas of our students and stated that all of them are very valuable and that Istanbul Kültür University will always support them in realizing their projects and engaging in effective activities.
Effective Communication Club organized an event titled “Young Faces of the Industry” on CATS on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Brand Manager Hasan Çil, Digital Communication Manager Merve Yavaş and Allianz intern Jale Al attended the event as speakers, and students were told about the entry and retention processes of the young faces of the communication industry. The event ended after the questions of our students were answered.
As a branch of the Effective Communication Club, the “Effective Communication Club Public Relations and Advertising Workshop” started its activities, which aims to learn by applying the activities of the advertising and public relations sectors. Being the guest of Feveran, Turkey's first born digital communication agency in Beşiktaş-Istanbul, AtölyEİK provided the participants to receive three separate trainings and practices.
In cooperation with the Effective Communication Club and the New Media and Communication Club, an event titled "Walther Kranz's Past, Present and Tomorrow" was held on Wednesday, December 8th. Bilal Boğa and Samet Özçi, who participated as speakers at the event held over the CATS platform, told the story of their agencies and made suggestions about the sector to the participants. The event ended after the question and answer session.
The "Sign Language Concert" organized as part of the "December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities" in cooperation with Trabzon Ortahisar Municipality and Istanbul Kültür University attracted great attention.
Istanbul Kültür University Sign Language Choir, Turkey's first and only university sign language choir, gave a concert at Hamamizade İhsan Bey Cultural Center. In the concert, the Sign Language Choir, consisting of students from Istanbul Kültür University, brought the pieces unique to the Black Sea region together with the audience in sign language.
