Effective Communication Club organized an event titled “Young Faces of the Industry” on CATS on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Brand Manager Hasan Çil, Digital Communication Manager Merve Yavaş and Allianz intern Jale Al attended the event as speakers, and students were told about the entry and retention processes of the young faces of the communication industry. The event ended after the questions of our students were answered.

As a branch of the Effective Communication Club, the “Effective Communication Club Public Relations and Advertising Workshop” started its activities, which aims to learn by applying the activities of the advertising and public relations sectors. Being the guest of Feveran, Turkey's first born digital communication agency in Beşiktaş-Istanbul, AtölyEİK provided the participants to receive three separate trainings and practices.

In cooperation with the Effective Communication Club and the New Media and Communication Club, an event titled "Walther Kranz's Past, Present and Tomorrow" was held on Wednesday, December 8th. Bilal Boğa and Samet Özçi, who participated as speakers at the event held over the CATS platform, told the story of their agencies and made suggestions about the sector to the participants. The event ended after the question and answer session.

The "Sign Language Concert" organized as part of the "December 3 International Day of Persons with Disabilities" in cooperation with Trabzon Ortahisar Municipality and Istanbul Kültür University attracted great attention.

Istanbul Kültür University Sign Language Choir, Turkey's first and only university sign language choir, gave a concert at Hamamizade İhsan Bey Cultural Center. In the concert, the Sign Language Choir, consisting of students from Istanbul Kültür University, brought the pieces unique to the Black Sea region together with the audience in sign language.

An interview titled “2022 Marketing Trends” was held on Friday, November 26, in cooperation with the Effective Communication Club, New Media and Communication Club, +1 Down and Autism Awareness Club, tion Department of New Media and Communica, Department of Communication Arts and Program of Public Relations and Publicity. Digital Marketing Specialist Esra Baykal, who attended the event as a speaker, gave information about the methods and tools that are expected to come to the fore in the field of digital marketing in 2022.

IKU IEEE Club students started their preparations for TEKONFEST 2022 without slowing down. Our students who are finalists in TEKONFEST 2021 will be in fierce competition by representing our University in the best way with new and dynamic categories in order to add new ones to their success!

What Did IKU IEEE Club Do at TEKNOFEST 2021?

İKÜ Kırmızı Kanatlar(IKU Red Wings) Fighting UAV Team, led by Ezgi Topcu, achieved a great success by placing 5th among 83 teams in the first stage, the Preliminary Design Report, despite its early years.

In cooperation with the Effective Communication Club and the New Media and Communication Club, the event titled “How Can I Become a Digital Communicator?” was held with Elif Zeynep Filizci as a guest. In the interactive event; Important issues such as the functioning of the agencies, their types, and what to pay attention to in digital communication were discussed. A trip to Anıtkabir was organized as part of the “10 November Atatürk Commemoration Events” in cooperation with the Atatürkist Thought Club (ADK) and the Atatürk Principles and Revolution History Research and Application Center (ATAMER). Our students commemorated the founder of the Turkish Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, at his grave on the 83rd anniversary of his passing, on Wednesday, November 10, at 09:05.

The "29 October Republic Cup Chess Tournament" was held at the International Ataköy Youth Center on 6-7 November 2021 by the Bakırköy District Representative of the Turkish Chess Federation.

Istanbul Kültür University Student Life, Career and Alumni Counseling Unit (Kültür Point), Bakırköy Youth and Sports District Directorate, Directorate of National Education ans Bakırköy Muncipality supported the tournament.

The students who won the tournament were presented with gifts by Istanbul Kültür University.

Express Science Club held a Halloween Party event in the backyard of Ataköy campus on Monday, November 1, 2021, between 18:00 and 21:00. Dj Batuhan Aktuna performed at the event, which was organized to increase the interaction between club members and strengthen social relations.
