The Civil Aviation Club organized a panel talk titled "Aviation Rise: The English Adventure in Aviation" in order to inform our students about the current developments in the aviation industry. Gökhan Beyaz, Founder and Managing Director of AVIOACHING Aviation, was the speaker at the event, which was held on Wednesday, December 27 at 11:00 at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of Bakırköy campus.

A conference titled "How to Teach Vocabulary" was organized by ELT Club to enlighten the students of the Department of English Language Teaching, especially on "Brain-Based Vocabulary Teaching" and on the art of vocabulary teaching in general. The event, which was held on Monday, December 25 at 12.00 in the Küçükçekmece campus conference hall, Assist. Prof. Hakan Dilman from Istanbul Maltepe University participated as a speaker.

Mathematics and Computer Club organized an event titled "DevXperience Session 4" on Friday, December 22, to provide students with information about the sector. Hepsiburada officials attended the event as speakers and informed our students about the software technologies and microservices systems they use.

Mathematics and Computer Club organized an event titled "DevXperience Session 3" on Friday, December 15, at 15.00, in Bakırköy campus Ataköy building ground floor B corridor amphitheater, to explain the basic concepts of Microsoft Azure Cloud to the participants theoretically and to enable them to reinforce this knowledge in practice. At the event where Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals (MVP) Mustafa Özdemir was the speaker, students were given extensive information about cloud computing concepts, service models and the basic features of Azure.
 

An event titled "Motivation Summit" was organized by the Leadership and Management Club on Thursday, December 21, at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus. The event was attended by Twiser Chief Growth Officer & Inequality Founding Partner Bahar Taşkın Öztürk and Senior HR Professional Özlem Sökmen, who participated as speakers, shared their educational lives and career paths with the students.

Yeni Medya ve İletişim Bölümü, Yeni Medya ve İletişim Kulübü ile Kültür Noktası iş birliğinde, 19 Aralık 2023 Salı günü "Yeni Medyada Kariyer Yöntemi 2 - Mezunlar Paneli" etkinliği düzenlendi. Etkinliğe konuşmacı olarak katılan alanlarında tecrübeli mezunlarımızdan Yeni Medya ve İletişim Bölümü öğretim görevlilerinden Öğr. Gör. Mert Efe Anğın, Alfa Yayın Grubu Account Specialist Sercan Kurtez ve CRM Medya Social Media Specialist Elif Saatcı, yeni medya sektöründe kariyer yapma yöntemleri ve deneyimlerini paylaştılar.

An event titled "Career Path: Conversations With Alumni" was held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023  with the joint efforts of Vision Club and Kültür Point.  Apple Store Manager İnci Özdemir Ünalan, a graduate of Istanbul Kültür University, and FLO Regional Sales Manager Burak Akyüz attended the event held at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus as speakers.  At the event, IKU graduates talked about their experiences in university life and shared their career developments with the students.

The second Istanbul Human Resources Forum was held at the Istanbul Congress Center on Friday, December 15, with the theme "Society 5.0". Kültür Point Career Specialist Ecem Uçar attended the event on behalf of our University.

At the event titled 'Just One' organised by Asimov Technology Club, the pioneers of Türkiye's defence, aviation, space, automotive and energy sectors came together.

As a part of the EU Project named "Empowering Youth by E-Commerce (EYE)" carried out with the joint efforts of Istanbul Minerals and Metals Exporters' Associations and Istanbul University, supported by the Human Resources Development Program Authority, a focus group meeting was held within the framework of “Labor Market Support Program Operation for Young People Neither Studying nor in Employment (NEET PRO)”.
