İKÜ Kültür Point Unit Vice President Doğa Kurtyiğit, Alumni Relations Assistant Specialist Ege Kaan Işık and İKÜMED assistant Batuhan Aktuna attended the "5th Alumni Relations Workshop" organized by Dokuz Eylül University with the theme "New Paradigms in Alumni Relations". The workshop held in Izmir on Monday, December 11,  was attended by various supervisors, coordinators and experts working in the career centres and alumni relations units of many foundation and state universities.

In the workshop issues such as;

An event titled "Current Developments in Personal Data Protection Law" was organized by the Information Technology and Technology Law Club on November 21, 2023. The event was attended by Assist. Prof. Serkan Seyhan from the IKU Faculty of Law, lawyer Ezgi Sivrikaya and lawyer Cem Yeniocak who answered the questions posed by the students after their presentation.

The fifth lesson of the "Digital Communication Academy Young Communicators School", organized with the joint efforts of Kültür Point and the Department of New Media and Communication, was given by Migros Ticaret Senior Education Specialist Mücella Ezgin on the subject of "Storytelling". The training, which mainly included practical knowledge, was finished off after the workshops.

The second of Ceramic Workshop serial event,  organized for hearing-impaired individuals with the joint efforts of Kültür Point and Özyazıcı Special Education Vocational School, was held at the Ceramics Workshop in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Students made handles and plates for the cups prepared by instructor Özhan Pak, and painted the hand crafter works to fit with the New Year's theme.  In addition, the hand crafted works produced in the previous workshop were delivered to the students.

With the joint efforts of Healthy Nutrition Club and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, an event titled “A Cup of Coffee” was organized on Tuesday, December 5, as a part of “World Turkish Coffee Day”.  In the event, which was held in 5 sessions, the impact of Turkish coffee on health were evaluated.

A "Design Thinking Workshop" event was held with the joint efforts of New Media and Communication Club and the IKU Department of New Media and Communication, on Tuesday, December 5, at the Design Factory in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.  Uğur Altıntaş and Ahmet Erşanlı from Vodafone Türkiye UX Research team attended the event as speakers.  At the event, students engaged in "Design Thinking" activity in the workshop.

Head of Kültür Point Unit Dr. Lect. Member Neslihan Fatma Er, Unit Vice President Doğa Kurtyiğit and Career Specialist Ecem Uçar attended the "Life Without Handicaps Fair" held at Istanbul Expo Fair Centre on Thursday, November 30, 2023. In the fair, which was held for the first time in Türkiye and the 6th time in the world, information was shared at the stands on issues such as technological developments, educational opportunities and job opportunities for disabled individuals.

IKU Law Club, IKU International Law Club and German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) organized a trip to Ankara on November 27, 2023, with the support of Dr. Akif Hilal Öztürk, who was appointed as the university official of DAAD. In the event which started with the visit of Nikolaus Meyer-Landrut, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye and members of the delegation; German Consulate, Turkish Grand National Assembly, Anıtkabir and Hacı Bayram Veli University were visited.

A “Ceramics Workshop” event was held with the joint efforts of İKÜ Kültür Point and Özyazıcı Special Education Vocational School, on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Ceramics Workshop room in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

Students got to express themselves in a creative way in the workshop organized for Hearing Impaired individuals.

The “Alumni Panel” event was held with the joint efforts of Industrial Engineering Club and Kültür Point, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.  The event moderated by Res. Assist. Oğuz Emir from the Department of Industrial Engineering, was attended by IKU graduates Can Akbaş, Ebru Gün and Tuğçe İnan as speakers. The IKU graduates shared their business experiences, reminisced about their university experience , offered insights for their future and answered students' questions.
