The ELT Club organized an introductory meeting on Tuesday, October 15th for members to get to know each other and learn about the club.

Training and development dives were carried out by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Underwater Club (IKUSAT) at Saroz Diving Center in Gelibolu Fındıklı Village Coal Port on October 12-13, 2024, with the participation of 6 graduates and 2 students under the guidance of club advisor Cemal Turan.

Members who received theoretical and sea training were awarded 1-star diver certification by reaching a depth of 18 meters in their last dive. In addition, the other 6 certified members also dived in Kömür Harbour for their development dives.

The IKU Cinema Club organized an "Open Air Cinema" event on Friday, October 4, in the front garden of the Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy building in order to provide students with a fun time. The event which started at 14.30 with the accompaniment of Orchestra IKU, continued with the performances of DJ Academy and IKU Dance Club. Then, a toy car giveaway was held through the Cinema Club Instagram account and gifts were given to the students. The movie started with the distribution of popcorn by the sponsor company.

The Leadership and Management Club organized an introductory meeting on Friday, October 4, to help members get to know each other and learn about the club.

The Psychology Club organized a meet-and-greet event at Ataköy Saray Muhallebicisi on Monday, September 30, for the members to get to know each other.

The Animal Protection and Sustenance Club held an introductory meeting on Wednesday, September 25, in classroom 1A 03-05 in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus to help members get acquainted with each other. During the event, students shared their own experiences and answered questions about the club.

The Debate Club organized an “Exhibition Match and Meet-and-Greet Event” to introduce debate in practice and help members get to know each other. The event was held on September 23, at the Bahçelievler Campus, and on September 26, at the Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy Building.

The New Media and Communication Club organised an orientation program for the first-year students of the Department of New Media and Communication on Wednesday, September 24 at 11:00 am in the ZD-2 lecture theatre in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy campus.

Within the scope of the "Peer Mentoring" project carried out by Kültür Point, the students who will serve as volunteer mentors in the 2024-2025 Academic Year were given training by Kültür Point Unit Vice President Doğa Kurtyiğit. Details of the mentoring processes were explained in the training held via the Cats system on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 16:00. The training, attended by more than 120 volunteer peer mentors, ended after the questions were answered. 

Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Mountaineering Club made a successful climb to the summit of the Kaçkar Mountains (3,937 meters) on August 10, 2024. Our team of ten people reached the summit at the end of a difficult stage lasting four days.

Mountaineering Club Advisor and Head of Entrepreneurship Department Assist. Prof. Artür Yetvart Mumcu waved the flag of Istanbul Kültür University and the Mountaineering Club at the summit.
