İKÜ IEEE Club organized an event titled “rolEMB” by EMBS branch. Moderated by research assistant Dr. Özge Rencüzoğulları, an academic from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, the event aimed to be able to choose the subject to be studied in many different fields emerging with different sub-disciplines in the developing and changing world and to find our role models in life. Describing her knowledge and experiences in the event, research assistant. Dr. Rencüzoğulları prepared the students for the sector and guided them.

In the first issue of 2021 of “JANE AUSTEN'S RENGECY WORLD” magazine published in London, the interview of “Reading Jane Austen's Emma” play, which was performed by Istanbul Kültür University students in 2018, was given. Greetings. As a Kültür2000 College and IKU graduate, Kültür has a great importance in my life. For this reason, I do not mind introducing myself as a “Kültür” ist. My paths with Kültür crossed when I was a child. After graduating from Kültür2000 College in 2009, I studied at Pertevniyal High School. In 2013, I returned to Kültür and graduated from IKU Faculty of Law. For this reason, I am both a member of Kültür College Alumni Association and a member of İKÜMED.

"Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow IN LOGISTICS"

The Logistics Club organized a webinar titled "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow in Logistics" on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Logistics Club Advisor Lecturer Ayşegül Kılıç was the moderator of the event, where Gökbora Transport and Trade Corporation Aegean Region Deputy Manager Zafer Kamış was the speaker. Students of the Logistics Program, of Air Logistics Program and of Foreign Trade Program attended the seminar.

“Career PLANNING” SEMINAR

Unit Vice Head of the Kültür Point Mücella Ezgin made a seminar titled “Career Planning” to the Ali Rıza Özderici Anatolian High School senior year students. In the seminar the topics such as the principles of life design, the changing world, the competencies of the future and new job descriptions were discussed which was held in cooperation with high school counseling teachers to increase exam motivation during the pandemic process.

In order to help participants get to know themselves better, game-based applications were carried out with living space studies.

Director & Producer Can Soysal was the second guest of the " Kültür of Life Academy Now and the Future-Success Stories Workshop " organized by the Kültür Point on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 15:00 on Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application. To the seminar moderated by Ömür Kınay, one of the lecturers of the Communication and Design Department; IKU administrative and academic staff and Cartoon Animation Department students showed great interest.

"How Can I Improve My DIGITAL LEARNING SKILLS?" Workshop

The workshop titled "How Can I Improve My Digital Learning Skills?" that was prepared by Kültür Point was held within the scope of "Life Culture Academy Now and in the Future".

In the workshop held under the management of Mücella Ezgin, Deputy Head of the Kültür Point Unit, the digital competencies that should be possessed in the changing world with digital technologies and the digital talent gap in the world were mentioned.

"Case ANALYSIS-INDIVIDUAL Psychology"

IKU PDR Club organized an e-seminar titled "Case Analysis-Individual Psychology" on Monday, December 21, 2020. In the event moderated by Assist. Prof. Melda Erbaş; The case of a young girl living in Asia was analyzed according to various points of individual psychology theory. While the common and different points of Adlerian therapy with other theories were discovered, the theory was enabled to learn more permanently by moving from theoretical to practice.
