“Our Suggestions This Week on Culture and Art Tour with Kültür Point” is shared every Monday by the Student Life Career Alumni Counselling Unit (Kültür Point).
Kültür Point's suggestions this week;
A virtual tour will be organized in the week of January 25, 2021 in cooperation with the Kültür Point and Jolly Tour. Jolly Tour guides will explain the event planned as a trip to Göbeklitepe or Troy. A survey was conducted on the Kültür Point Instagram account on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Jolly Tour will also be surveyed on its own account and the trip destination will be determined according to the results from two accounts.
The "Philosophy of Mathematics and Thought Workshop Fall Term" trainings, which were organized by the Kültür Point and started to be given by lecturer Numan Aydınoğlu on the CATS-Collobarate on September 16, 2020, have ended. At the end of the last 10 productive weeks, plans were made for the Spring Semester due to the demand from the students. Trainings will continue on Friday, February 19, 2021 via CATS-Collobarate.
"Python and Data Analysis Training" was organized by the RAS branch of IKU IEEE Club on December 27-28. In the training given by the instructor Nehir Günce Daşcı, the Python language and data analysis, which is one of the usage areas of this language, were discussed. On the first day of the training, where the Python language came from, general data types, various methods, variable types, control loops and special functions were explained.
Effective Communication Club, New Media and Communication Club, New Media Department, Communication Arts Department, Vocational School Public Relations and Promotion Program organized a webinar titled “Urban Transformations in My Career” on Cats Collobrate on December 25, 2020. Vestel Education Specialist Samet Aldemir, who participated in the event as a speaker, explained the points that students should pay attention to while preparing for the sector and during online interviews throughout their academic lives.
Ata Ertuğrul, one of our 2018 graduates of the Department of Business Administration, gave training to our students about the use of Excel at the event named "Excel in Business World ". In the training held in 2 sessions, the importance of using Excel, shortcuts and formulas of the program were mentioned. With the examples made later, our students were also experienced.

İKÜ IEEE Club organized an event titled “rolEMB” by EMBS branch. Moderated by research assistant Dr. Özge Rencüzoğulları, an academic from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, the event aimed to be able to choose the subject to be studied in many different fields emerging with different sub-disciplines in the developing and changing world and to find our role models in life. Describing her knowledge and experiences in the event, research assistant. Dr. Rencüzoğulları prepared the students for the sector and guided them.
In cooperation with Asimov Technology Club and IKUVENT Club, "Innovative Entrepreneurs Summit" was held on the Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application in 4 sessions on January 2-3, 2021.

In the first issue of 2021 of “JANE AUSTEN'S RENGECY WORLD” magazine published in London, the interview of “Reading Jane Austen's Emma” play, which was performed by Istanbul Kültür University students in 2018, was given. The conversation was conducted by the writer Sarah Tor with Esin Akalın, our teacher of Literature on Stage, who wrote, directed and adapted the play to the stage. Greetings. As a Kültür2000 College and IKU graduate, Kültür has a great importance in my life. For this reason, I do not mind introducing myself as a “Kültür” ist. My paths with Kültür crossed when I was a child. After graduating from Kültür2000 College in 2009, I studied at Pertevniyal High School. In 2013, I returned to Kültür and graduated from IKU Faculty of Law. For this reason, I am both a member of Kültür College Alumni Association and a member of İKÜMED.
