After the "Hygienic Pad Collection Campaign" organized for the benefit of Küçükçekmece Municipality El Ele Yaşam Association within the scope of "8 March International Women's Day" in cooperation with the Turkish Sign Language Choir and Awareness Club, our students participated in the distribution with the municipality employees. In the distribution that continued throughout the day, the parcels prepared were delivered to those in need.

IKU IEEE Club added a new one to its achievements. After the LUPUS Rocket Team, which competed as a finalist in TEKNOFEST 2021, the newly established Astra Rocket Team this year successfully passed the preliminary design report among hundreds of teams. Our team, which continues its preparations with its brand new and dynamic staff, continues to rise to high points with their efforts and willingness to work.

Great progress continues to be made in the rocket, which has started to be built. The upper body of the rocket, which is completely handcrafted, is ready for assembly!

Asimov-X Rocket Team, within the body of Istanbul Kültür University Asimov Technology Club, is a team that aims to design and manufacture rockets, which are the building blocks of today's and future defense industry. In this direction, our team, which participated in the "TEKNOFEST Rocket Competition Medium Altitude" category this year, as it did last year, earned a high score from the "Preliminary Evaluation Report" and qualified to move on to the next stage.

A talk titled "Law from Student to Profession" was held by the International Law Club on Monday, March 28. Attorney Cengiz Yaka, Secretary General of the Istanbul Bar Association, and Attorney Ömeralp Pulatoğlu, Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Istanbul Bar Association, attended the event as speakers.

The Cultural and Social Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), is authorized to maintain the relations established during their education with international students who graduated from higher education institutions in our country, even after their education.

An interview titled “Career Design: Through the Eyes of the Art Director” was held on the CATS platform on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, by the Effective Communication Club. Senior Art Director Tufan Karakuş, who attended the event as a speaker; he explained how an art director designs his career, what stages a designer has passed through, and the projects he took part in, to students who want to advance in the field of design.

The “Hygienic Pad Campaign” was organized with the collaboration of IKU Awareness Club, IKU Sign Language Choir and Küçükçekmece Municipality Elele Yaşam Foundation, in the scope of “March 8 International Women’s Day.” The collected hygienic pads under the motto of “Hygienic Pads are Basic Needs not Luxury” at the stands opened at the Ataköy Campus between March 8-18, 2022, delivered to the Elele Yaşam Foundation.

The group competitions organized by the Turkish University Federation in Istanbul with the participation of seventeen universities in four groups have concluded. Istanbul Kültür University Women's Volleyball Team won all three matches in group C (Acıbadem University, Boğaziçi University and Haliç University) and succeeded in qualifying for the play-offs. We congratulate our team and wish them success in the play-offs.

Awareness talk titled "I Succeeded" was held on Monday, March 7, 2022, within the scope of "March 8 International Women's Day", in cooperation with IKU Awareness Club and 118-T Sarıyer Leo Club. Lawyer Tuba Turan, who participated in the event as a speaker; she emphasized how she chose her profession, her acceptance to her close circle and the importance of collective work with her own life story. Hatice Nur Uzgenç shared the founding of GÜÇKADER with her family and working life.

An event titled “Effective Use of LinkedIn” was organized on March 15, Tuesday by the Effective Communication Club via CATS Platform. In the event, in which Mücella Ezgin, Education and Development Executive, was the speaker, the contribution that using LinkedIn actively and beneficially, to the career management processes were explained to the participants.
