The Leadership and Management Club organized the “LİDERYönetici 2024” event on October 24-25 at the Akıngüç Auditorium and Arts Center at our Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy building.
Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Underwater Club (IKUSAT) carried out training and development dives at the Dive Academy Diving Center in Bodrum between October 26-29, 2024, with the participation of 4 graduates and 4 students under the guidance of club advisor Cemal Turan.
In cooperation with the Healthy Nutrition Club and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, a workshop titled “Cook, Taste, Learn” was organized on Thursday, October 24. In the training given by Specialist Dietitian Hüsniye Odabaş, students prepared a healthy, simple and practical recipe 'crispy bar'.
The Psychology Club organized an event titled “In the Therapy Room: The Counsellor-Client Relationship in Psychotherapy” to provide students with insights into practical aspects of the field. Psychologist Serap Duygulu participated as the guest speaker in the event held at the Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy building, in the multipurpose hall on the first floor.
The Industrial Engineering Club organized the "Department Introductions" event to support students' career planning processes. Müge Kılıç from Papara, Merve Elmas and Ertekin Özturgut from Toyoto, and Cüneyt Acar from Tüpraş participated in the event, which took place on Tuesday, October 15, from 12:00 to 18:00, at the Önder Öztunalı Conference Hall in the Ataköy building of the Bakırköy Campus.
The Effective Communication Club organized a talk titled “Boundaries in the Advertising World” on Thursday, October 17. Advertising Copywriter Başak Görel, the guest speaker, discussed how limitations in the advertising world affect the industry and how to navigate these challenges despite the restrictions.
The ELT Club organized an introductory meeting on Tuesday, October 15th for members to get to know each other and learn about the club.
Training and development dives were carried out by Istanbul Kültür University (IKU) Underwater Club (IKUSAT) at Saroz Diving Center in Gelibolu Fındıklı Village Coal Port on October 12-13, 2024, with the participation of 6 graduates and 2 students under the guidance of club advisor Cemal Turan.
Members who received theoretical and sea training were awarded 1-star diver certification by reaching a depth of 18 meters in their last dive. In addition, the other 6 certified members also dived in Kömür Harbour for their development dives.
The IKU Cinema Club organized an "Open Air Cinema" event on Friday, October 4, in the front garden of the Bakırköy Campus, Ataköy building in order to provide students with a fun time. The event which started at 14.30 with the accompaniment of Orchestra IKU, continued with the performances of DJ Academy and IKU Dance Club. Then, a toy car giveaway was held through the Cinema Club Instagram account and gifts were given to the students. The movie started with the distribution of popcorn by the sponsor company.
