"UNDERSTANDING THE BLOCKCHAIN"

An event titled "Understanding the Blockchain" was organized by Asimov Technology Club and IEEE Student Club between 14.00-17.00 on Sunday, May 16. The event, attended by expert speakers in their fields, was held in 3 sessions.

The first session of the event was held with the title of "What is blockchain?", in which Yusuf Altunel, one of our lecturers, was a speaker. What blockchain technology is, what countries and companies are doing in Blockchain applications and what awaits us in Blockchain applications in the future were discussed.

"INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT WRITING AND DEVELOPMENT"

Kültür Point organized the "Introduction to Project Writing and Development" training on Monday, May 10, 2021, for students to understand the process of transforming their ideas into projects and to learn the basics of project writing. In the training given by the Founder of Volunteer Stories & Instructor Yunus Emre Benli; The stages of project writing, the points to be considered in project writing, the project cycle and grant programs were mentioned. The training ended after the question and answer session.

"19 MAY PANEL WITH ATHLETE STUDENTS"

Within the scope of "19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day Celebrations", a "19 May Panel with Athlete Students" was organized by the Kültür Point on Wednesday, 19 May.

The event, attended by Volleyball Men's Team Captain Ahmet Can Genç, Volleyball Women's Team Captain Neslişah Karamürsel, Tennis Women's Team Captain Sena Club, Football Team Captain Arif Baş, Basketball Men's Team Captain Alptuğ Beteroğlu and Umut Ünlü from Paralympic Swimming branch as speakers, was moderated by Student Council Vice President Dilruba Şahin.

"CHILDREN AND ART"

Child Studies Kültür Club organized an event titled "Children and Art" on the Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application on Tuesday, May 18th. Art Instructor Emine Corduk Feyzioğlu attended the event where Child Studies Kültür Club Consultant Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Toran was the moderator.

"CORPORATE CULTURE AND REPUTATION MANAGEMENT"

A webinar titled “Corporate Culture and Reputation Management” was organized in cooperation with the Effective Communication Club, New Media and Communication Club, Department of Communication Arts, Department  of New Media and Communication and Program of Public Relations and Publicity. Lecturer A. Berrak Köten, Head of IKU Banking and Insurance Evening Education Program, was the guest of the event held on Tuesday, May 18, at 21:00 on CATS Calloborate.

“ATATÜRK AND THE YOUTH”

In collaboration with Atatürkist Thought Club and Atatürk’s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution Research and Application Center (ATAMER), a panel titled “Atatürk and the Youth” is organized in the scope of “May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day Celebrations.” In the panel, which is organized via Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application on May 19th, Wednesday, Emir Okur, head of the Atatürkist Thought Club and Başak Doğan, club’s Member of Board of Management attended as the speakers.

Kültür Point organized the "Youth Panel with Student Clubs" on Tuesday, May 18 at 19.30, within the scope of "Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day Celebrations" on CATS Calloborate.

Efe Anğın from the Effective Communication Club, Fırat Baydilek from the New Media and Communication Club, İbrahim Selim from the Logistics Club, Nisanur Kurt from the IEEE Club and Ahmet Can Günay from the ASİMOV Technology Club participated as speakers in the panel. The moderator of the panel was Doğa Kurtyiğit, Communication Officer of Kültür Point.

“FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL MARKETING; MASSIVE DIGITAL"

A webinar titled “Fundamentals of Digital Marketing; Massive Digital" was held by New Media Club via CATS on May 10, 2021. Massive Digital Agency Founder Ahmet Balat attended the event as a speaker. Balat conveyed his experiences in the establishment and development process of the agency to the students. The activity ended after the students' questions were answered.
