In collaboration with Atatürkist Thought Club and Atatürk’s Principles and History of Turkish Revolution Research and Application Center (ATAMER), a panel titled “Atatürk and the Youth” is organized in the scope of “May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day Celebrations.” In the panel, which is organized via Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application on May 19th, Wednesday, Emir Okur, head of the Atatürkist Thought Club and Başak Doğan, club’s Member of Board of Management attended as the speakers. The panel is moderated by Furkan Özdemir, Member of club’s Board of Management.

The speakers discussed the 1919 period sociologically, as the youth who May 19th is confided to, in order to explain what they feel and what are their responsibilities. Later on, they shared their views on why youth are valued so much with the historical development and why the guardians of the Republic are young people.
