Istanbul Kültür University Turkish Sign Language Choir made the audience experience an unforgettable night with the concert held at Akıngüç Auditorium and Art Centre on Friday, May 10.  This special event, which blended music and sign language, gave the audience not only emotional moments but also a visual feast.

All proceeds from the concert were donated to the Türkiye Spinal Cord Paralytics Association (TOFD), thereby turning it into a meaningful social responsibility project.  This exemplary gesture of the IKU Sign Language Choir was applauded both by the university community and the audiences.

During the concert, the choir sang popular songs using sign language, enabling hearing-impaired individuals to experience music.  The event offered a unique experience to the audience by bringing together the universal language of music and the power of sign language.

Istanbul Kültür University will continue its endeavours to increase social awareness through emphasizing the importance of social responsibility projects and such events.  We would like to thank Instructor & Conductor Eser Dalyan, the choristers and all the supporters who coach the Turkish Sign Language Choir.
