A virtual tour program titled "Traveling Göbeklitepe with Jolly" was held at 21:00 on Monday, January 25, 2021, in cooperation with the Kültür Point and Jolly Tour. 106 people attended the sightseeing tour, which was narrated by Jolly Tour Guide Güney Peker via Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application. To the event; IKU students, alumni, academic and administrative staff as well as external participants showed interest.
In the virtual tour, which started with a short video of Göbeklitepe, the geographical features of the Southeastern Anatolia Region were also explained. In the program supported by the images of Göbeklitepe, information was given about the archaeological remains. The importance of the female giving birth figure exhibited in the Şanlıurfa Archeology Museum was emphasized.
The virtual tour program ended after the questions were answered.
