With the participation of academicians at universities conducting valuable research and studies in different fields on the basis of youth with the aim of contributing to the development of youth policies based on research and needs analysis in Türkiye with the cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports by the Game and Learning Association and creating the Turkish Youth Researchers Network, the "Youth Policies Meeting on Research" was held on Friday, June 7, 2024 between 10.00-16.00 at the Istanbul Bakırköy International Youth Center.

At the meeting attended by Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Dr. Enes Eminoğlu, General Director of Youth Services Enes Efendioğlu, relevant department heads from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and invited academics, Istanbul Kültür University Student Life, Career and Alumni Advisory Unit (Kültür Point) President Assist. Prof. Neslihan Fatma Er represented our university.

At the meeting held on the agenda of "Youth Needs and Sharing Research-Based Determinations", the participants conveyed the youth problems, needs and potentials they observed and researched, specifically for youth and within the scope of their fields of expertise, and stated the situations they considered important within the scope of their experiences. On the "Suggestions on Youth Policies" agenda, participants' suggestions were taken in order to contribute to the youth policy development process of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. During this process, suggestions for collaborations that could be developed between the ministry and academics and for youth research in Türkiye were listened to.
