The Student Orientation Program is organized at the beginning of the first academic year when new students join the University.
The aim of the program is to introduce our new students to our University, which will be their new home during their higher education studies, as well as our employees who will be their new family members by greeting them in a warm environment. We would like to make their first memorable moments as invaluable and guiding as possible. The activities we carry out in this sense include giving information to both our new students on key issues and supporting our students from the very beginning of their university life to the day they graduate and even after they graduate. The new Student Orientation Program consists of two parts:
The aim of Student Orientation Days is to introduce our new students to university life, to ease the process of their adaptation to university life, to introduce them the new environment in which they now a part of and to provide them with a chance of socializing with each other. Within this scope, the University Orientation Program and Department Orientation Program are organized.

Department Orientation Program
Below are the titles of the program, which aims to familiarize undergraduate and associate’s degree students with their departments or programs:
- Meeting with the department/program heads, academic staff, academic advisors, departmental representatives, student leaders and department/program students
- Department/program learning contents
- Department/program success criteria
- Formulas of academic success
- Specialized double major and minor program conditions
- Terms of application for Erasmus+ and International Exchange Programs
- Rules for taking courses
