FOX News Editor-in-Chief Doğan Şentürk was the first guest of the "Kültür of Life Academy Now and the Future-- Strong Communication Workshop" organized by the Kültür Point on Monday, 21 December 2020, on the Virtual Classroom Application. Producer & Presenter Hülya Aydın was the moderator of the event, and IKU academic and administrative staff and students participated.
The event started with how the pandemic affected the media industry. Doğan Şentürk emphasized that after the health sector, those who are most at risk are reporters in the field.
Describing his 30 years of reporting and journalism life, Şentürk started his career on private television in the 1990s. Şentürk, who worked with many veterans, said that he did not have a single role model, and that he took all the veterans he worked with as a role model with their negative and positive aspects.
Expressing that they are doing impartial and transparent reporting, Doğan Şentürk talked about the importance of the audience, the values they add to themselves and the channel.
Finally, Şentürk made recommendations for our students who want to be journalists.
