A student of IKU, Altuğ Sarı, participated in the European Kempo Championship held in Antalya between 24-30 October 2022 in three different categories. Our student, who was awarded with three bronze medals in the championship, made our university proud by coming in the third position in the European league.

An event titled “Epigenetic Teatalk”  was organized by the Molecular Biology and Genetics Club on Wednesday, October 26. In the event in which Prof. Dr. Eda Tahir Turanlı from Acıbadem University attended as a speaker, topics such as “What is epigenetics?”, “Epigenetic processes”, “Basic mechanisms of epigenetics”, “DNA methylation” and “The effects of environmental factors on epigenetics”, as well as up to date articles on the relevant subjects were discussed.

In cooperation with the Kültür Point and International Relations Unit, the “Halloween Party’22’ event was held on Monday, October 31. At the party, held in the backyard of Ataköy campus, Kültür DJ Academy exhibited their performances. Our students attended the party with their "Halloween" concept costumes and masks.
