The application process for those wishing to work as part-time students at our university opens at the beginning of each academic year. You can easily apply via the relevant digital application form starting from the specified dates.
The application form asks for your preferences regarding the units you wish to work in, as well as information that will help us get to know you better. Once the selected candidates from among the students who have completed the form submit the required documents, the process officially begins.
If you wish to gain work experience while continuing your studies and actively contribute to university life, be sure to regularly follow the announcements published by Kültür Point.

Before applying for part-time employment, please carefully review the list of “Departments, Quotas, and Student Requirements” below.
This list contains the available quotas in each department and the criteria being sought. You must take this information into account when making your preferences on the form.
UNITS, QUOTAS AND STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
Application Form
All information you declare on the application form will be considered valid. Therefore, it is very important that you provide accurate and complete information when filling out the form.

Application End: September 29, 2025, 6:00 PM
Expected Assignment Schedule: October 1–10, 2025
- To be a registered and active student of Istanbul Kültür University (excluding non-thesis graduate students and special students).
- Not to be an intern during the part-time employment period.
- Not to have received any disciplinary punishment (must be documented).
- Not to be on a leave of absence and not to be an international student.
- To be studying within the regular education period.
- (Amendment made by the Senate decision dated 31.07.2025)
- To have a minimum GPA of 2.00 for associate and undergraduate students,
- To have a minimum GPA of 3.00 for graduate and doctoral students.
- The GPA of preparatory, first-year, and transfer students (horizontal and vertical) is evaluated at the end of the first semester.
- The employment contracts of students whose GPA falls below 2.00 will be terminated.
- To possess sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the job.
- (Amendment made by the Senate decision dated 31.07.2025) In exceptional cases, even if the minimum academic qualifications are not met, students with special competencies relevant to the job or project may be employed upon the request of the related unit and the approval of the Rectorate, for reasons such as project continuity and/or work sustainability.
- Not to have had a previous employment contract terminated due to a breach of contract.
- For students who are victims of natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, and for children of martyrs and veterans, as well as students with disabilities, only the following requirements apply:
- To be studying within the regular education period,
- Not to be an international student,
- Not to have received any disciplinary punishment.
1. During the student employment period, students are expected to act in accordance with Istanbul Kültür University’s “Kültür Constitution” as well as its related ethical principles, confidentiality policies, institutional culture, and social values.
2. Students are responsible for carrying out their duties on time, with care, and in an efficient manner.
3. In the event of any inconvenience, problem, or difficulty, students must promptly notify their unit manager.
4. While performing their tasks both within and outside the university, students must exercise utmost diligence in maintaining the confidentiality of student information, safeguarding research data, and ensuring the security of other sensitive information.
(All of the requested documents must be submitted to the Kültür Point Unit.)

• 1 photocopy of identity card
• Republic of Türkiye Identity Number (if not indicated on the identity card, an official printout from the internet)
• Eligibility Certificate (obtainable via e-Government)
• Residence Certificate (obtainable via e-Government)
• Certificate of Civil Registration (obtainable via e-Government)
• 1 photocopy of student ID card
• Recently issued student certificate
• Certificate of no disciplinary record
• 2 passport-size photographs
• Bank account number opened at Yapi Kredi Bank, Güneşli Metro Branch, belonging to the student
• Confidentiality Agreement (original copy with wet signature)
2. For Students Re-Registering in SGK
• 2 photocopies of identity card
• Republic of Türkiye Identity Number (if not indicated on the identity card, an official printout from the internet)
• Eligibility Certificate (obtainable via e-Government)

• Social Security Institution (SGK) insurance card or insurance number
