IEEE IKU Club continues to work on Rocket, SİHA, Unmanned Underwater Vehicle and Smart Walking Stick projects. IEEE IKU Club achieved another success with the IEEE Universe team wining the Metaverse competition held on May 16-17! Astra Rocket Team, which was established this year with its robust team members after the great success of the LUPUS Rocket Team, a finalist in TEKNOFEST 2021, is preparing to make its mark on TEKNOFEST 2022!



Astra Rocket Team Listed as a Finalist with a Remarkable Score

Astra Rocket Team has began to reap the much deserved awards of their hard work, which they have been scrupulously pursuing for a long time, by being listed as a finalist. Our team, which passed the first stage and made it to the final stage competing against hundreds of teams, achieved a very remarkable score of 922.5 out of 1055 points, and got one step closer to flying. The aim of the competition is to collect and reassemble the rocket after it being flown at an altitude of 3,000 meters without any damage, and to share the data obtained during the flight with the referees. Astra Rocket Team’s rocket, which is produced out of glass fiber and aluminum, is a marvel of structural design. With the innovative avionics system the team produced, they are ready to watch their rocket in the sky!
