Director & Producer Can Soysal was the second guest of the " Kültür of Life Academy Now and the Future-Success Stories Workshop " organized by the Kültür Point on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 15:00 on Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application. To the seminar moderated by Ömür Kınay, one of the lecturers of the Communication and Design Department; IKU administrative and academic staff and Cartoon Animation Department students showed great interest.
Firstly, Soysal explained the establishment process of the TRT Kid's thematic channel, and stated that children's broadcasting has a history and sometimes the channel allocates certain time periods to children in its own broadcast flow in periods when thematic channels are not formed. He added that later thematic channels with children themes emerged.
Talking about the broadcast stream of TRT Kid, Soysal said that there is no dead hour in the broadcast because it has a morning-noon system. He stated that they set different broadcasting generations so that children do not stay in front of the screen for hours, thereby allowing the transition to other age groups.
The event ended after the questions from the Cartoon and Animation Department academic staff and students were answered.
